Connection for august

Being your true self, fully expressing who you are, and living in alignment with your authentic self is a gift to the world.

Beneath layers of protection—layers of conditioning from past experiences, shame, and fear—lies the truest version of yourself: the self that knows its own worth, wisdom, strength, love, vitality, and uniqueness. We don’t need to learn how to be more than who we already are; instead, we can choose to remember and release the stories, barriers, and shields that hold us back. These prevent us from truly seeing what is, feeling what is there, and living fully in the moment.

When there is a disconnection between our inner and outer worlds, our life experience becomes misaligned. When our thoughts, words, and actions are out of sync, and when we seek peace and purpose outside of ourselves without coming from a place of love, we live in a state of disconnection. Living out of alignment causes us to lose touch with our true essence and forget the ever-present flow of love within us.

Thoughts become feelings, and both shape our experience of life.

They become the filters through which we experience the world. Living out of alignment means denying and ignoring parts of ourselves and our experiences, including our thoughts and feelings. In awareness, we can give ourselves grace and accept who we are. We can practice being loving observers of the comings and goings of our thoughts and feelings, choosing to stay connected to our true essence—the unwavering foundation of love and kindness within us: our true self.

Be like the sunflower. Stand tall and proud. Turn your face and heart toward the light. Find your home in your own unique radiance and savour the warmth of the last rays of summer sunshine. Embrace the “Palace of Personal Connection.”
