In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), each period of the year carries a specific energetic signature. “The Month of the Water Dragon” (generally associated with late spring in Chinese zodiac cycles) combines two powerful influences:• The Dragon – a symbol of transformation, expansion, and rising Yang energy•
The Water element – connected to the kidneys, essence (Jing), fear, but also depth and regenerationThis combination creates an interesting dynamic: the energy of spring (Wood) is nourished by Water, but can become unstable if there are imbalances (excess humidity, Qi stagnation, repressed emotions).
How this period manifests energetically. During this month, the following may occur:
- emotional fluctuations (between enthusiasm and anxiety)
- liver stagnation (the liver = Wood, active in spring)• sensitivity to humidity (bloating, heaviness in the body)
- profound fatigue (if Kidney energy is weakened)
- need for an “internal restart”
The objective is:harmonising the liver + supporting the kidneys + eliminating humidity + regulating emotions
